The money won in private freerolls is subject to special handling with regards to withdrawal.

IWF 2009
Taking place over October Bank Holiday weekend, the Irish Winter Festival features an estimated festival prize pool of €1,000,000. In addition to the Irish Masters main event (a €1,500 + €150 NLH freezeout starting on Saturday October 24th and running for three days), the festival will include a $150 + €15 NLH rebuy Super Satellite on Friday October 23rd.

Prepare for the IWF Sole Survivor! The Sole Survivor qualifier promotion was successfully introduced at the Irish Open 2009 where Marcel Koch won a €100,000 package. WCP 2009
The PokerStars World Cup of Poker (WCP) is back, and this year we’re bringing together 54 nations from around the world for the ultimate poker battle. There’s a $290,000 prize pool on the line, but only one country can claim the glory, national pride and the $100,000 first place prize money at the live Grand Final in The Bahamas.
Poker doesn’t get any bigger than this, so make sure you are there.
How to take part
This year the WCP will run differently, giving ALL players a shot at making it onto their national team. Here’s how it works:
STAGE I
Qualify for your National Team It doesn’t matter where you are from, every PokerStars player has the chance to qualify for the live Grand Final. To be in the running, you must first qualify for a place in your country’s four player team. See the Qualify page to find out how you can become a member of your national team.
STAGE II
Regional Play-offs Once you’ve secured a place on your national team, Stage II will see players compete against teams from neighboring countries in order to secure a place in Stage III - the live Grand Final! See the Regional Play-Offs page to find out how your team can reach the Grand Final.
STAGE III
Live Final Members of the teams that make it to the World Cup of Poker Grand Final will receive a prize package that includes travel and accommodation at the Atlantis Resort and Casino in The Bahamas. Once there, each team member will compete in a series of tournaments to determine how the World Cup of Poker Final Table will play out.

PCA 2010
It’s time to start dreaming about long days on the beach and serious action at the tables, because the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) is back. This time it’s going to be massive - with more events than before and even bigger prize pools to play for. This year’s festival runs from January 4-14, 2010, and you can qualify now with PokerStars satellite tournaments starting from just a few dollars.
The PCA is the event that all serious poker players never miss, including hundreds of PokerStars qualifiers and Team PokerStars Pro. It’s part of the European Poker Tour, Latin America Poker Tour and the Asia Pacific Poker Tour, and is the biggest live poker tournament outside of the US, with one of the richest prize pools anywhere in the world.
Last year’s winner Poorya Nazari won his seat via PokerStars and took home prize money of an incredible $3,000,000. The Main Event is set to take place from January 5-11. In addition, there’s also a full schedule of side events, including the High Roller, regular tournaments across a range of different poker games, plus the favourites that you’d expect, like the always-popular Battleship events. It’s all played out in the luxury surroundings of the Atlantis Resort & Casino on Paradise Island in The Bahamas. There’s plenty to do while you’re away from the table, including the best clubs and bars, fine restaurants and miles of white sandy beaches.
